New York Festival of Song (NYFOS) collects both general and personal information from its patrons, ticket buyers, and other online visitors, depending on the nature of their interactions with the organization. The NYFOS website collects general information, including IP addresses, and we, with the help of third party consultants, use that aggregated information to analyze trends, and improve user experience. We may share aggregated data with sponsors and advertisers.

NYFOS collects personal information when you make a purchase or donation, request information, participate in a survey, apply for employment, or join our mailing list. Financial information is collected on a transaction-by-transaction basis; and credit card information will not be retained after processing the transaction.

Donor information will be collected in order to record and properly acknowledge each donation. While we enjoy recognizing our donors in various printed and digital publications, donors may always request that their gifts remain anonymous.

NYFOS (and third party service providers hired by NYFOS) may use your personal information to fulfill your requests and transactions; to customize marketing and online content; to conduct research; to contact you; or as required by law, including disclosures to tax authorities, auditors, and in response to subpoenas and court orders. Any third parties engaged in such capacities are prohibited from using the personal information provided by NYFOS except to perform related services for us.
