So to end my week of songs I asked my youngest granddaughter Galatea (she is 10) what her favorite songs were and she named a couple and then said and of course my cousin’s songs.  I asked which of those and she said “Summer Girl”.  The cousin she was talking about is her eldest cousin Amelia (she is 18) who has been singing and writing with the trio KALLIOPE JONES for about 8 years.  Amelia plays bass and sings lead on this song which she refers to as her “teenage angst song”.  I hope you enjoy it as much as her cousin and her grandmother do.
