Support NYFOS’s 35th Season at our annual spring gala!

**Tonight’s the night and we are so excited to celebrate with you! Please be aware that the venue requires a jacket and tie for all men on the premises.**

**If you have mailed in a ticket order, and have not heard from us, we have NOT received it. Please email us at info@nyfos.org to confirm your arrangements. Tickets will not be sold at the door.**

We are busy planning an exciting party for Monday, May 15, 2023—New York Festival of Song’s Spring Gala. Along with co-chairs Jamie Bernstein, William & Lucy Friedman, and Alexandra & Philip Howard, I am very much hoping that you can be with us that night. The event will take place at the Racquet & Tennis Club on Park Avenue, an elegant New York institution with roots reaching back to the Gilded Age.

This year’s program, Feelin’ Groovy: Songs from the 60s, will feature songs by Laura Nyro, Simon & Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell and the Beatles, along with some Motown hits and—who knows?—maybe even a tune from Hair.

Our superlative cast of performers includes the Broadway sensation Julie Benko (currently starring in Funny Girl) and her husband, the brilliant jazz pianist Jason Yeager; two powerhouse balladeers, tenors Joshua Blue and Daniel McGrew; and NYFOS’s dear friend Lucia Bradford, a one-woman Supremes. We promise you an unforgettable night out! — Steven Blier

The revenue generated by this event—our single largest fundraiser each season—directly underwrites our programming and enables all the uniquely engaging concerts that are our hallmark. We are especially proud of this season, which saw our full return to the concert hall; three residency programs; two album releases, with a third to come in June; and NYFOS co-founder Steven Blier’s 50th anniversary on the stage. The generous support of patrons like you makes it possible for us to keep bringing audiences the very best in song!
