The Beach Boys: Little Deuce Coupe

From Tim Coffey, Caramoor’s Artistic Planning Manager

It’s winter on the east coast so naturally I’m thinking about a warm sunny day at the beach. And who better to put me in the mood — The Beach Boys. To be honest though, I’ve been on a beach boys kick for about a year now. Growing up, I knew all of the popular tunes, but I hadn’t really appreciated their brilliant song writing skills until my college years. Hope this tune gives you some hope that summer is just around the corner. And if you’re a winter person, well then, you’re wrong. Also, I chose this song specifically because my coworker’s daughter turns 1 in March and her nickname is Toose. So here you are — “Little Toose Coupe”. Happy Bday Toose!
